Welcome to the second part of the blog series "A Client’s Journey." Last month, you learned what to expect when working with us for social media management. This month focuses on what a client can anticipate when collaborating with us on a website project, whether they’re starting from scratch or need help maintaining an existing site.
A Client’s Journey:
Method 1: Starting From Scratch
Step 1: Client Discovers Us
The client either finds us online, visits our website, and fills out the Website Services Establishment Form, or they reach out to us, and we direct them to that form. Here, you will provide information needed to better understand who you are and what you’re aiming to accomplish by working with us. This is where you will indicate whether you need a website built from the ground up or if you just need help maintaining an existing site.
After we receive the establishment form, we will review the information and send a follow-up email with a link to schedule an onboarding meeting. If you’re looking to build a new website and have selected your preferred website builder, a link to that builder’s template/theme gallery will be attached. We ask that you please choose a theme (if possible) before the onboarding meeting. The email will also include any other miscellaneous information we may need from you.
Step 2: Onboarding Meeting
During the onboarding meeting, we will set up your site and grant us administrative access. We will also ask any follow-up questions we may have to better understand your vision for the site. A shared Google Drive folder will be created for uploading images, text, and other media you wish to include on your site.
Step 3: Initial Website Setup
After you've uploaded some starter text and images to the Google Drive folder, we will begin building your site. Once we think it’s ready, we’ll schedule a time to present it to you, during which you can provide feedback on what needs to be changed. We collaborate to ensure everything meets your satisfaction.
Step 4: Payment
An invoice will be sent at the end of the month, including the start-up fees to be paid.
Step 5: Ongoing Maintenance
For any future maintenance required on the website, please send us an email. You will be invoiced at the end of the month for any additional services we may provide.

Method 2: Maintenance of an Existing Website
Step 1: Establishment Form Completion
Just like with Method 1, the client will fill out the Website Establishment Form on our website, providing the applicable information. After we review your responses and conduct a brief independent audit of your website, we’ll send you a follow-up email to schedule a concise onboarding meeting.
Step 2: Onboarding Meeting
During this brief meeting, we will discuss what you hope to achieve by using our services, as well as establishing a proper editing access to your site.
Step 3: Maintenance Performed and Invoice Issued
We complete necessary maintenance at an hourly rate, issuing an invoice at the end of each month. This step will continue for as long as you may need our services.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re interested in one of our services. We would love to work with you!
